PE Global Healthcare are seeking Family Support Practitioners on behalf of our client to provide home-based support with the safe care of children. This is a hands-on, community-based role where child welfare is paramount. In this role the Family Support Practitioner will provide home-based, family-focused support to help parents and carers sustain the safe care of their children. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team they will report to the Family Support Co-ordinator/Manager, Team Leader or Principal Social Worker.

Applicants must have:

• QQI Level 6 (or higher) major award in any of the following: Social Care, Health Promotion, Childcare, Education, Family Support, OR equivalent    recognised qualification
• Knowledge of and ability to undertake the duties of the role
• Full driving licence & access to transport (role involves travel)
• Awareness of participatory practice with children and young people

Salary & Benefits

• €40,351 → €55,599 
• 39-hour working week
• 23–25 days annual leave
• Pensionable position
