PE Global is recruiting for an Asset Management Engineer on behalf of our biopharmaceutical client in Dublin. This is an initial 12-month contract, hybrid role.

Position Summary

The Project Support Engineer (Asset Mgmt) will be responsible for support of an ongoing capital Project.

The role will lend itself to upskilling from a technical and strategic point of view through involvement in a major capital project, and exposure to the project lifecycle from beginning to end. The individual will have exposure to the wider project team as well as sustaining groups as they execute elements of the capital project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing support of capital project. This will involve working closely with the Asset Lifecycle Mgmt team to support project activities related to asset creation, criticality assessment and determination of equipment maintenance philosophies in line with procedures.
  • Asset Lifecycle support during project execution
  • Creation of assets and facilitation of asset criticality assessment
  • Review of project documentation and asset data for accuracy and completeness
  • Support upload of asset data to Maximo CMMS system.
  • Development of project execution KPIs/Metrics

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • The candidate will hold a minimum of a Level 8 Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Biochemical).
  • Some experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in a maintenance or engineering teams an advantage.
  • Experience of project execution/management within GMP manufacturing an advantage
  • Experience of Maintenance management and Reliability programs an advantage
  • Experience of computerised maintenance management systems CMMS, Maximo or equivalent.
  • Experience working with engineering data and documentation (P&IDs, Electrical SLDs, data collection templates)
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment and meet deadlines
  • Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
