Clinical Nurse Manager 2

PE Global Healthcare are assisting their client, an established acute hospital in Cork, to recruit for clinical nurse manger 2 for the Emergency Dept. This is an appointment only ED dept open from Monday to Friday

Role:    CNM2 Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Resource management,
• Management of patient care,
• Staffing and staff development,
• Facilitating communication
• Professional/clinical leadership.

Candidate Requirements:

• NMBI Registration
• Patient Safety and Hospital Quality Experience
• Minimum 5 years post graduate acute care nursing experience
• Previous experience in an Emergency department essential
• Post-Graduate qualification in Emergency Medicine is desirable
• Minimum 3 years experience in a people management role (CNM1 position or equivalent)
• Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills
• Ability to make decisions with excellent organisational skills
• Proven leadership and change management skills.
