Company Overview:
Our client is a well-established and reputable contractor involved in the delivery of major civil and electrical infrastructure projects across Dublin. With several high-profile developments underway, they are now seeking experienced Ground Workers to join their site team on a key infrastructure project in the Dublin Region. 

Role Overview:
As a Ground Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the civil and electrical teams on-site. This includes carrying out all aspects of groundworks, from excavation and ducting to concrete works and reinstatement. The role requires candidates with a solid background in civil construction and experience operating machinery in a safe and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of groundworks including trenching, ducting, drainage, concrete works, and reinstatement.

  • Operate site machinery safely and efficiently, in line with current health and safety regulations.

  • Support the civil and electrical teams with installation and infrastructure preparation.

  • Ensure all work is completed to specification and in line with project timelines.

  • Follow site safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in groundworks on civil or electrical infrastructure projects.

  • Valid and in-date Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and relevant CSCS tickets (e.g., 360 Excavator, Dumper, Roller, Site Dumper, etc.).

  • Full Category C (truck) driving licence – essential.

  • Strong knowledge of site safety and construction best practices.

  • Ability to work well in a team and take direction from supervisors.

  • Flexibility to work on different sites across the Dublin region if required.

Desirable:

  • Experience working on utilities or electrical infrastructure projects.

  • Confined space training or SLG (Signing, Lighting & Guarding) certification
