Position: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
Employment: Ongoing / Contract

We are looking for compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our Newly Established day service in Co Wicklow, supporting individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities (ID).

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification (formerly FETAC Level 5) or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience working as an HCA in Ireland, either privately or within the HSE.
• Previous experience working with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.
• A caring, patient and person-centred approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Garda Vetting and relevant references required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and daily support.
• Assist with personal care, activities and daily living.
• Support individuals with Autism and ID to develop independence.
• Follow individual care plans and organisational policies.
• Promote dignity, safety, wellbeing and inclusion.
