The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end retrofit projects, leading a skilled team, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead projects from initial site survey and design through to final installation and handover.
  • Develop detailed project plans, set timelines, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Define project scope and manage resources effectively, including labour, materials, and support staff.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Recruit, manage, and motivate an insulation installation team.
  • Oversee scheduling, task allocation, and performance to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, finance, and administrative teams, including:
    • Ensuring accurate and timely SEAI grant application submissions.
    • Providing project documentation, including before-and-after photos, for compliance and reporting.
    • Monitoring and tracking project costs with the finance department.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively resolve challenges such as unforeseen structural issues or supply chain delays.
  • Provide clear communication and solutions to keep projects on track.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in retrofit, energy efficiency, or construction project management.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, energy engineering, construction management, project management, or a strong trade background with additional upskilling.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
  • Strong knowledge of SEAI schemes, building regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.
