PE Global is currently recruiting for a Sr Planning & Performance Analyst for a leading multi-national Oil & Gas company based in The UK.
Our client, a market leading Oil & Gas operator, are seeking a Sr Planning & Performance Analyst to plan and execute planning and performance management (P&PM) analytical activities. The planning group is responsible for providing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of the overall performance of the organization; creating the ten-year investment plan, three-year business plan, mid-year and year-end accountability reports, and quarterly business reviews; and monthly monitoring of department, admin area, and service line expenditure, analysis of variance, and correction of errors. Additionally, the role involves the review and consolidation of all performance input (transaction updates, KPIs, narratives, LoIs, risks).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical findings and recommendations related to P&PM tasks such as business plan preparation, performance tracking and measurement, and performance analysis and accountability reporting.
- Conduct special P&PM-related studies, including the development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, design and redesign of measurements, processes and workflows, and information system-related changes.
- Supervise, coordinate, and facilitate the execution of regular and special tasks with other P&PM personnel, as well as provide mentorship on P&PM analytical practices.
- Perform other related staff and analytical duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in Planning and Performance Management roles.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning & performance management and in the use of business intelligence tools.
- Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
