PE Global Healthcare is recruiting for a Social Care Leader/PIC for a full-time permanent position based in Dublin.

The Social Care Leader / PIC is responsible for the overall management of the house or houses under their care. Ensuring the delivery of care, education, and safety for each person with an intellectual disability in a 24-hour setting, in accordance with HIQA regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure that an environment is created that is conducive to the well-being of the service users.

1. To ensure that the high standards of professional care are maintained at all times.

1. To create and maintain good inter-personal relationships in all areas of work.

1. Initiating, maintaining and coordinating care, training, treatment and education programmes for Service users.

1. Ensure that the spiritual needs of the service users are supported and in accordance with the ethos of Avista.

Essential:

• QQI Level 8 is desirable but applicants with level 7 degree who have relevant experience will be considered. The award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.
• CORU recognised Social Care Qualification
• Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent or commitment to undertake training.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of HIQA regulation.
• Experience working within the area of intellectual Disability.
• Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
