I am seeking CORU Registered Social Care Professionals in North Cork for roles in Buttevant, Charleville, Mallow, Cork and surrounding areas.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time / Agency / Part Time
Salary: HSE PayScale’s – €40,945 – €54,747 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Social Care Workers who are passionate about supporting people with intellectual disabilities and complex support needs.

You will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality, person-centred support while promoting choice, dignity, independence, inclusion and individual rights.

Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred support based on individual needs and goals.
Promote independence, life skills and community participation.
Develop positive relationships with individuals, families and colleagues.
Support the implementation of person-centred and positive behaviour support plans.
Maintain accurate records, reports and support documentation.
Promote safeguarding and the rights of the people supported.
Participate in care planning, reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
Work collaboratively to deliver safe, effective and high-quality services.

Requirements

Degree in Social Care or equivalent recognised qualification.
CORU registration as a Social Care Worker or eligibility for S91 registration.
Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and/or complex needs is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to person-centred and rights-based practice.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full Manual driving licence.
