The role

PE Global is seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Little Island, Cork. This is a 6-month contract role, open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly Financial Statements for.
• Completing and filing of tax returns and ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and compiling reports of monthly financial results.
• Providing advice to clients on tax planning and efficiencies.
• Assisting with financial projects to support existing services and processes.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a professional Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
• At least 5 years PQE Practice Experience.
• Previous experience working in an Irish practice/SME.
• Experience with Sage essential for this role 
• Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite 
• Ideal candidate will come from an SME background with experience of a very busy financial environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships
• A good working knowledge of Accounting Standards is required.
