The role
PE Global are currently recruiting for a Plumber based in Cork
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Log inspection records and corrective actions on the site CMMS system (Maximo).
- Respond to plumbing emergencies and diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
- Install, maintain, and repair sanitary units and associated fixtures.
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of building and fabric systems of work.
- Work within a self-managed team of multi-skilled technicians and contractors.
- Maintain high standards in terms of work output, quality, and service delivery.
- Manage own and others’ safety across all contracts under remit.
- Participate in and attend cross-functional meetings.
- Maintain quality working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Apply a methodical and analytical approach to all maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide support to other trades when requested.
Requirements
- Level 6 SOLAS Plumbing Qualification (or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience within a facilities maintenance environment.
- Experience working within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, GMP, or other regulated environments preferred.
- Strong plumbing maintenance and fault-finding experience.
- Experience operating within regulated environments.
- Experience with CMMS systems such as Maximo is advantageous.
- Good PC skills with the ability to complete reports and documentation accurately.
- Experience supporting minor projects/program management would be an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team.
- Methodical and analytical approach to work.
- Full clean driver’s licence (minimum 2 years
Remuneration & Benefits
- Permanent Full-Time Position
- 39 Hours per Week – Monday – Friday
- Working Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
