PE Global is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a leading multi-national maritime company based in Germany.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Building a strong project pipeline with a deep understanding of customer experience and market dynamics in the hydraulics sector.
  • Qualifying and securing new business opportunities through the sales qualification process, aiming for above-average revenue growth.
  • Achieving profitable new customer sales according to budget and the 5-year plan.
  • Collaborating closely with project teams, including Sales, Technical Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Support, and the Life Technology organization.
  • Aligning strategically with a focus on profitable growth opportunities and contributing to the development of market-oriented value pricing.
  • Supporting the development and management of revenue forecasts (monthly & annually).
  • Creating business cases for new product development and technology roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
  • Working closely with Process Control Global Key Account Managers (GKAMs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs) to drive cross-divisional and long-term value creation.

Education/Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Passion for sales, customer satisfaction, and an entrepreneurial, profit-driven mindset.
  • Proven experience in B2B project sales of technical products to key OEMs in the hydraulics market.
  • Ability to develop and execute medium- to long-term (3-5 years) growth plans for sustainable success.
  • Knowledge of products and services related to the hydraulics market is an advantage.
  • Fluent in both English and German; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Passion for continuous learning and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at the leadership level in a multinational company.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Determination to overcome obstacles and keep promises with a high level of integrity.
