PE Global Healthcare, in conjunction with our prestigious hospital client based in Dublin 16, are seeking a dedicated and dynamic CNM2 for mental health facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate residents and staff on health promotion and prevention.

• Audit health care practices to ensure compliance with Mental Health Commission standards.

• Liaise with internal teams and external providers to ensure continuity of care

• Provide physical health monitoring and treatment for residents.

• Manage chronic conditions in conjunction with GPs and the wider MDT (e.g., diabetes, COPD, hypertension).

• Administer immunisations and vaccinations to residents and staff.

• Conduct health screening checks: BP, BMI, ECGs, urinalysis, etc.

• Deliver wound and skin care, including treatment of ulcers and minor injuries.

• Respond to emergencies, including anaphylaxis and CPR.

• Develop and maintain individualised physical healthcare plans.

Candidate Requirements

• NMBI Registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN).

• Minimum 3 years’ post-registration nursing experience.

• Experience in adult mental health services is advantageous.

• Advanced nursing skills, including:

  • Venepuncture/Phlebotomy

  • ECG Monitoring

  • Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, COPD, CHD)

  • Wound and skin care

• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Proficient in IT systems and electronic health records.
