PE Global are currently recruiting for a Project Manager – Delta V Technical Lead for our client site in Tipperary:

11 month initial contract – This is a site based role

Role Description

Reporting to the Digital Project Lead, specifically responsible for DeltaV Systems.

This candidate will be required to work closely with the Digital teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of DeltaV DCS.

Role Functions

(Functions include, but are not limited to, the following)

• SME for DeltaV Hardware implementation
• Write User requirements for DeltaV modules
• Review and Approve related Design Documentation.
• Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system
• Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development
• Participate in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing
• Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control, Implementation and test)
• Ensure software is implemented in a safe fashion with quality a necessary output.
• Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.
• Partner with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation in line with Standards

Knowledge, Skills, Education & Location Requirements

Required:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
• Training completed in DeltaV standard and batch. 5 or more years of experience in DeltaV application.
• Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects.
• Excellent understanding of cGMP’s, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ 6 Sigma principles.
• Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential.
• Proven ability to work in cross functional teams.

Desired:

• Experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities.
