PE Global Healthcare are delighted to assist their client, an established healthcare service provider, to recruit for a director of quality, compliance and nursing to lead the organisation.. The client provides a range of high quality services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Services provided are day, residential, short breaks, community support , rehabilitative training and multi-disciplinary support. The ethos is to empower people with disabilities to live self directed lives in an equal and inclusive society.

Key Duties

• Development of the Quality and Service Improvement team
• Develop an integrated quality and compliance management system in line with National Standards.
• Organisational strategy
• Develop and support the key governance structures responsible for the oversight of quality and compliance , including but not limited to the Quality Committee and any relevant committees as required.
• Maintain a centralised register of policies and procedures
• Monitor the development, review and approval of policies and procedures to ensure it is in line with processes
• Audit Management, regulatory compliance and risk management
• Complaints management processes and quality improvement plans

Permanent post – Full Time 

Candidate Requirements 

• Registered RNID / RGN / RMHN Nurse on the live register with NMBI
• Post Graduate Higher Diploma in Quality and Compliance or equivalent
• Minimum  5 years management experience
• Excellent understanding of clinical governance, service planning, service provision and resource management.
• Robust understanding Regulation and HIQA framework.
• Experience of working in a post that has involved safety, risk management, quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Experience of working in a senior managerial nursing position
• Experience of leading change at a senior organisational level
