PE Global Healthcare are delighted to assist their client to recruit health care assistants for South Limerick. The client is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive services for people with intellectual disabilities. 

Permanent Full and Part time positions available

About the role:

• Experience in working with challenging behaviours of Adults and Children with Intellectual Disabilities
• Work as part of a dedicated team, as well as independently if/when required
• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with service users and all stakeholders.
• Support the day-to-day running of services, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for all.
• Ensure adherence and understanding of HIQA standards and residential care regulations.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare or a relevant field (Full award)
• Experience of working with children/adults in the field of intellectual disability
• Full manual driving licence and access to your own transport.
• A degree of flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and helping them maximise their quality of life.
• Interest  / experience in equine an advantage
