My Client, a leading Manufacturer in the utility, industrial and renewable energy sectors is looking for a Management Accountant in Cavan. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary, benefits and significant career progression.
The Role:
- Cost Management: Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
- Management Support: Provide decision support through financial analysis, interpreting financial data to assist management in making informed business decisions.
- Variance Analysis: Review and analyze financial performance against budgets and prior periods, identifying reasons for variances and suggesting corrective actions.
- Month-End Close: Ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end processes, including reconciliation of accounts.
- Cash Flow Management: Assist in monitoring cash flow and managing working capital requirements.
- Internal Controls: Support internal audit processes and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Systems & Process Improvements: Contribute to the development of accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ad-hoc Reporting: Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by senior management.
Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Qualification – ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- 2 Years PQE
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment advantageous
- Knowledge of ERP system essential
- Proficient in Excel
- The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
