PE Global is currently recruiting a Materials Controller for a 6-month contract role with a leading pharmaceutical client based in Runcorn.
Responsibilities
- Manage outstanding Purchase orders and requisitions in SAP system and progress indirect material receipts
- Analysis of open order report – track & communicate performance v target
- Monitor zero stock lines
- Update planning parameters (Leadtimes, MOQs) and review re-order points by category/supplier
- Update Purchase orders with supplier confirmations and amend as necessary where variances occur
- Create new material details in master data system
- Engage with suppliers and build effective relationships through regular supplier reviews
- Process invoice queries in Readsoft SAP application
- Liaise with key stakeholders to manage open order book (suppliers, Logistics)
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role: materials controller, inventory analyst, etc.
- Background in pharma, biotech, medical devices is preferred
- SAP & Microsoft
- Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence others
- Problem solving
- Team player who can act independently
