PE Global Healthcare are currently recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist on behalf of a leading private mental health service in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly developed low secure inpatient unit supporting adults with complex mental health needs while working as part of a highly supportive multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will manage a clinical caseload, delivering occupational therapy assessments and evidence-based interventions focusing on self-care, productivity and leisure. The role involves facilitating individual and group therapy programmes, contributing to care planning and risk management, and working closely with psychiatry, psychology, nursing, social care and allied health professionals. As a senior clinician, you will also support junior staff and students, contribute to service development and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or MSc in Occupational Therapy
• CORU registration (or eligibility)
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
• Experience working in adult mental health, supporting individuals with complex mental health presentations
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Experience in forensic or inpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.
