Company Overview:
Our client is a leading Electrical Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PAT Tester to join their team. Experience would be highly desirable but not essential as full training would be provided. Candidates must have transport for this role. 

Role Overview:
As a PAT Tester, you will be responsible for the inspection and testing of portable electrical appliances to ensure compliance with safety standards. While a formal electrical qualification is not essential, a good working knowledge of electrical systems is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT Testing) across various client sites.

• Label, log, and report test results accurately using handheld devices or manual records.

• Identify and report defective appliances and potential hazards.

• Communicate clearly with site personnel and clients as needed.

• Adhere to health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.

• Maintain and calibrate PAT testing equipment as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in PAT testing is highly desirable.

• Understanding of basic electrical principles and appliance safety.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Full clean driving licence (preferred, depending on role requirements).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
