JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and ensure the timely processing of payments for in-country taxes, pensions, and health insurance premiums.
- Coordinate with Finance/Treasury to ensure all payroll funding is approved and dispersed according to local banking deadlines.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll reports to ensure 100% compliance with local labour laws and internal SOX/GDPR controls.
- Perform rigorous Gross-to-Net (GTN) reconciliations for every cycle, identifying and resolving variances immediately.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal stakeholders to streamline workflows and resolve cross-functional data issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, providing clear, technical explanations for complex pay or tax questions.
- Directly manage the monthly processing cycle for 3–4 EMEA entities.
- Maintain Workday as the “Source of Truth,” auditing all data changes (new hires, terminations, salary adjustments) before vendor submission.
- Execute mass data uploads for variable pay, commissions, and bonuses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or another respective field; relevant experience (5+ years) may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience processing payroll in medium size or larger organization
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and follow-through
- Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well within tight deadlines
- Collaborative team player; ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Prior experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, or other ERP
