Production Operators

PE Global are seeking Production Operators for roles in East Cork. 

Candidates will need to be/have:

• Customer focused with a proven track record of meeting customer requirements.
• Be capable of working on their own initiative. 
• Be available for short term roles involving quality inspection of final product before dispatch.
• Be capable of lifting etc – role requires regular lifting of boxes weighing over 20kg.
• Have experience of operating in a Food Production and/or similar setting.
• Require strong attention to detail for record-keeping and for actively monitoring the process and responding proactively to any issues that arise. 
• Quality-orientated with a focus on “Right First Time “and compliance with hygiene, 5S, HACCP and other quality related standards. 
• Capable of carrying out manual handling activities incl lifting, rotating, lowering of objects. 
• Have the aptitude to work in a highly regulated environment. 
• The ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and Shift Managers regarding decisions in relation to the process. 
• Experience of working with IT systems. 

Hours of work: Morning and Afternoon 8 hour shifts – €17.68 per hour

Previous experience of working in food production or food preparation environments is a strong advantage or having worked in a HACCP regulated site.

These roles will be primarily be days on a Monday to Friday basis with occasional Saturday working and on a rotating shift roster that requires full flexibility.

Due to short term nature may suit students with immediate availability and/or those who have completed work placements. Holidays or notice periods can not be accommodated currently.
