PE Global is currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a leading multi-national bio-pharma client based in Tipperary.

This is an initial 11-month contract position.

 

Reporting to the GES OEP Lead the GES Project Manager directs the activities of contract consultant engineering design and installation personnel in the implementation of assigned capital projects

 

Role

  • Responsible for the overall execution of assigned projects or identified segments of major projects including managed Global Engineering Solutions projects.
  • Leads the Project Team comprising of external consultant engineering design and construction personnel and internal cross functional team members.
  • Manages projects through our clients Capital Management Process and Project Delivery Roadmap.
  • Responsibility for and oversight of the preparation of individual project Basis of Design documents, Cost Estimates and Schedules, and presentation for approval by appropriate plant or divisional management, ensuring that capital installations are delivered in a cost-effective manner that meet Safety, Environmental, GMP and Financial requirements.
  • Responsibility for completion of project detailed design, equipment specifications, functional requirement specifications and formulates project execution strategy.
  • Responsibility and oversight of preparation and approval of contract documents for individual project disciplines including Architectural/Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical/Instrumentation. Selects competent contractors to complete installation. 
  • Responsibility for and oversight of the preparation and approval of equipment validation documentation, completion of Installation Qualification, liaisons with technical and operating personnel in completion of operational and performance qualification.
  • Responsibility for and oversight of the completion of equipment commissioning, identification and organization of training requirements for Operations and Maintenance personnel, completion of handover of equipment and project files to Operations and Plant Records Department.
  • Ensures Capital projects are executed in a timely, safe and cost effective manner, meeting customer and compliance requirements.

 

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Third level degree in an engineering discipline and/or a PMP in Project Management
  • Proven level of experience in delivering significant capital projects within the pharmaceutical sector. Budgets €50k-€10mil
