PE Global Healthcare – Senior Clinical Psychologist

Location: Fingal, Dublin

PE Global Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist on behalf of a leading provider of services for adults with intellectual disabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated clinician to join a collaborative Clinical Services team, delivering high-quality, person-centred psychological supports that promote meaningful lives, independence and community inclusion.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in intellectual disability, Autism, Positive Behaviour Support and mental health, alongside the clinical expertise and leadership skills to contribute to the ongoing development of psychology services.

About the Role

As Senior Clinical Psychologist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and delivering psychology services in line with professional standards and best practice.
  • Providing specialist psychological assessments, interventions and clinical consultations.
  • Promoting and supporting Positive Behaviour Support approaches across services.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and support staff to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Contributing to clinical leadership, service development and the ongoing support of colleagues.
  • Promoting evidence-based, person-centred approaches across the organisation.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and the development of high-quality clinical services.

Essential Requirements

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Experience in Autism, Positive Behaviour Support and/or mental health.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative working skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
