Social Work Team Leader – Tusla (Clonmel or Mallow)

PE Global Healthcare, is currently recruiting a Social Work Team Leader for exciting opportunity based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary or Mallow, Co. Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social worker to take the next step in their career and lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality child protection and welfare services.

The Role

As Social Work Team Leader, you will provide professional leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred services for children and families. You will oversee referrals, assessments, case management, and service delivery while promoting best practice and compliance with national policies and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support a team of social workers and support staff.
• Provide professional supervision, guidance and performance management.
• Ensure effective assessment, prioritisation and management of referrals.
• Promote best practice in child protection and welfare.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Social Work.
• Current registration with CORU.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, including child protection and welfare experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisory or team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and national policies.
• Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
