PE Global Healthcare is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Medical Scientist with a strong background in Haematology to join a leading hospital laboratory team in Dublin.

The Role

As a Senior Medical Scientist, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality Haematology service, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary laboratory and clinical team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing and overseeing routine and specialised Haematology investigations
• Analysing and interpreting patient samples and results
• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results
• Supporting quality management and laboratory compliance
• Assisting with troubleshooting, validation and implementation of laboratory procedures
• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team
• Contributing to service development and continuous improvement
• Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team

We’re Looking For

• Significant post-qualification experience as a Medical Scientist
• Strong and demonstrable Haematology experience
• Experience working at Senior Medical Scientist level or ready to progress into a senior position
• Relevant degree in Medical Science or equivalent recognised qualification
• Relevant professional registration/eligibility to practise in Ireland
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
