Supply Chain Associate

Contract duration: 2 Months

Location: Speke, Liverpool (Hybrid)

Rate: £15.38 – £20.51 per hour PAYE

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Associate on behalf of a leading animal health pharmaceutical company.

The Supply Chain Planner will provide tactical supply chain support across external manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for production planning, order management, inventory control, SAP data management, and operational supply chain support to ensure continuity of supply and alignment with market demand.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning

  • Run production planning processes within SAP PPDS
  • Review market requirements with regional supply planning teams
  • Generate rolling production demand forecasts and schedules
  • Maintain production schedules and support capacity planning
  • Support long-term supply planning activities

Order Management

  • Generate and manage Purchase Orders within SAP and Ariba
  • Track open orders and update delivery schedules
  • Support invoice approvals and resolve supply chain exceptions
  • Troubleshoot SAP supply chain issues relating to POs, invoicing, and master data
  • Manage goods receipts and material consumption against production orders

Inventory Management

  • Monitor material and finished goods inventory levels
  • Support inventory reconciliations and physical inventory counts
  • Identify and manage slow-moving or at-risk inventory
  • Support destruction processes for obsolete inventory where required
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to maintain supply chain governance

Master Data & Operational Support

  • Maintain accurate SAP master data
  • Support KPI tracking and reporting including supplier delivery performance and inventory metrics
  • Participate in supply review and operational meetings
  • Support investigations, change controls, and corrective actions related to supply chain activities

Requirements:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Production planning experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships across teams

Desirable

  • SAP experience (MRP, PPDS, IBP, Ariba)
  • APICS CPIM or similar supply chain certification
  • Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or inventory management
  • Power BI or reporting/dashboard creation experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
