Our client, a leading European main contractor specialising in the design and delivery of hyperscale data centres, is seeking an experienced CSA Supervisor to oversee the civil package on a major data centre project in Dublin. This is a permanent position offering long-term career development within one of Europe’s most respected data centre delivery organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all civil and groundwork activities, including excavation, foundations, drainage, concrete works, and external finishes.
  • Lead multiple groundwork crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of works.
  • Manage daily site operations in line with project schedules, design drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Liaise closely with the CSA Site Manager, Project Engineers, and H&S teams to ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures.
  • Conduct daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and progress updates.
  • Monitor and report on productivity, quality, and progress against programme targets.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, ensuring any design issues are flagged and resolved promptly.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with method statements, risk assessments, and QA procedures.
  • Support with material take-offs, requisitions, and logistics planning for civil works.
  • Coordinate with M&E and structural teams to maintain seamless integration of all disciplines on site.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience supervising civil or CSA works on large-scale construction projects (data centre, industrial, or pharma experience preferred).
  • Proven experience leading groundwork crews and subcontractors on complex, fast-paced projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong awareness of site safety regulations and QA/QC requirements.
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related trade background (e.g., groundworks, formwork, concrete, or setting out).
  • Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Supervisor-level site safety training.
