PE Global is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing client based in Aycliffe. The role is a 6-month contract and the rate is £22.84 p/h.
Shift: 3 shift rotation.
6am-12pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am (Monday – Thursday)
6am – 12pm / 12pm – 6pm / 6pm – Midnight (Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment and facility systems operate safely and reliably
- Minimize downtime through preventive and corrective maintenance
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical or technical issues efficiently
- Support continuous improvement of equipment performance
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards
Requirements:
- Attending machine breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance activities
- Problem solving, Safety Awareness/adherence to safety procedures. Preventive and corrective maintenance skills.
- Mechanical repair and troubleshooting Electrical systems knowledge (motors, circuits, sensors)
- PLC basics and understanding of control systems
