The Role
PE Global are recruiting for a Doc Controller for our biopharmaceutical client based in Dublin 15. This is an initial 12 -month contract role. Hybrid working options.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain detailed documentation for global supply chain processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process maps, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain managers, process owners, and subject matter experts, to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Review and update existing documentation to reflect changes in processes, systems, and regulations.
- Create visual aids, such as flowcharts and diagrams, to enhance the clarity and usability of documents.
- Manage document control processes, including version control, approvals, and distribution.
- Conduct regular audits of supply chain documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Provide training and support to supply chain staff on the use and interpretation of process documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and documentation.
Educations & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, process documentation, or technical writing.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain processes and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
