PE Global Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a leading tier 1 construction company to recruit a Building Services Engineer to join the team in Cork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all mechanical and electrical building services with the wider construction programme from design through to commissioning and handover
• Review and interpret service drawings alongside architectural and structural details, identifying and resolving clashes
• Liaise with design teams, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure full compliance with specifications and programme
• Manage and monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to required quality standards
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of all building services systems
• Support procurement activities and assist in the preparation of tender documentation where required
• Ensure timely preparation, review and submission of O&M manuals and handover documentation
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress updates to project management
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

Candidates should have relevant 3rd level qualifications and at least three years’ experience gained either with a building contractor or in a skills transferable field.

Experience with relevant IT systems and knowledge of AutoCAD is required, as is the ability to work in teams, to be organised self-starters and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
