The role

PE Global are currently recruiting for a Plumber based in Cork

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Log inspection records and corrective actions on the site CMMS system (Maximo).
  • Respond to plumbing emergencies and diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
  • Install, maintain, and repair sanitary units and associated fixtures.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of building and fabric systems of work.
  • Work within a self-managed team of multi-skilled technicians and contractors.
  • Maintain high standards in terms of work output, quality, and service delivery.
  • Manage own and others’ safety across all contracts under remit.
  • Participate in and attend cross-functional meetings.
  • Maintain quality working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Apply a methodical and analytical approach to all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Provide support to other trades when requested.

 

Requirements

  • Level 6 SOLAS Plumbing Qualification (or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience within a facilities maintenance environment.
  • Experience working within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, GMP, or other regulated environments preferred.
  • Strong plumbing maintenance and fault-finding experience.
  • Experience operating within regulated environments.
  • Experience with CMMS systems such as Maximo is advantageous.
  • Good PC skills with the ability to complete reports and documentation accurately.
  • Experience supporting minor projects/program management would be an advantage
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team.
  • Methodical and analytical approach to work.
  • Full clean driver’s licence (minimum 2 years

  • 39 Hours per Week – Monday – Friday
  • Working Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
