The role

PE Global are currently recruiting for a Plumber based in Cork

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
Log inspection records and corrective actions on the site CMMS system (Maximo).
Respond to plumbing emergencies and diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
Install, maintain, and repair sanitary units and associated fixtures.
Demonstrate a good working knowledge of building and fabric systems of work.
Work within a self-managed team of multi-skilled technicians and contractors.
Maintain high standards in terms of work output, quality, and service delivery.
Manage own and others’ safety across all contracts under remit.
Participate in and attend cross-functional meetings.
Maintain quality working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Apply a methodical and analytical approach to all maintenance and repair activities.
Provide support to other trades when requested.

Requirements

Level 6 SOLAS Plumbing Qualification (or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience within a facilities maintenance environment.
Experience working within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, GMP, or other regulated environments preferred.
Strong plumbing maintenance and fault-finding experience.
Experience operating within regulated environments.
Experience with CMMS systems such as Maximo is advantageous.
Good PC skills with the ability to complete reports and documentation accurately.
Experience supporting minor projects/program management would be an advantage
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team.
Methodical and analytical approach to work.
Full clean driver’s licence (minimum 2 years
