The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Business Support Specialist for our manufacturing client based in Dundalk Co. Louth This is a 12-month contract, mainly onsite role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supporting site projects
  • Trending KPI’s and governance process for SLT performance
  • SLT cost management and controls
  • Supporting Site Lead on day-to-day planning and partnering with Site leads across the network engagements
  • Supporting key engagement projects and integration activities
  • Support the SLT Operational Readiness Plan for the duration of startup activities up until commercial manufacturing. 
  • Supporting the annual Hoshin Kanri Site planning activities
  • Organising and managing large meeting (internal and external participants) and events (site visits)
  • Support key engagement programmes and projects on site in partnership with agile teams

 

Education and Experience

  • Business Administration and/or project management diploma desirable
  • At least 5 years of experience working in site administration/projects
  • Efficiency in communicating complex information to staff at different levels
  • Ability to handle sensitive business information
  • Organisation Skills – Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution.
  • Proven record of accomplishments in a regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated influencing skills creating a pull environment for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Strong analytical/statistical problem-solving skills, coaching and facilitation skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint.
  • Solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Anticipates and prioritizes work to be done and applies knowledge/skills to more complex problems
  • Excellent organising, planning skills, communication and presentation skills. Proven success working in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders that support the site.
  • Excellent influencing/collaboration skills and teamwork mindset.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo with a continuous improvement mindset
