PE Global Recruitment are currently working with a market leading tier 1 construction company to recruit a Construction Manager to join the team in Kildare. This is a full time, permanent role.

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Construction Manager to join their team on a major construction project.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site professional to take a key leadership role, overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for health & safety, quality control, site logistics, site supervision and the coordination of subcontractors, forepersons and site teams, while working closely with the Project Manager to achieve key programme and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and implementing HSEQ systems and procedures on site
  • Overseeing site set-up, security, logistics and traffic management
  • Coordinating deliveries, plant, labour and site resources
  • Supervising subcontractors, forepersons and site teams
  • Monitoring progress against the construction programme
  • Managing the sequencing of finishing trades to maximise quality and minimise reworking
  • Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure programme milestones are achieved
  • Monitoring labour, plant, site set-up and other project overheads
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and site organisation

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have 7+ years’ site management experience, with a background in any combination of commercial, industrial, residential, fit-out or refurbishment projects.

You’ll be an experienced and confident site leader with strong organisational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple teams and priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and programme delivery.
