About The Team & Role

The Contract Operations team supports the Company’s Go-To-Market Legal team in a wide variety of transactional and in-depth work. This worldwide team is comprised of contract management professionals who handle diverse categories of work across the customer base and net new accounts. The team is asked to manage a large volume of requests and in collaboration with several cross functional teams.

Our legal department is looking for a high-performing Contracts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assume a wide range of responsibilities, all of which will require critical thinking, innovation, and integrity. We are looking for someone with outstanding attention to detail, high energy, strong project management skills and a positive attitude.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workflow for contract review process for a variety of contract types, beginning with receipt of requests for contract generation through routing for signatures and final distribution.
  • Assist with maintenance and improvements of contracts management processes and system as well as implementation and enforcement of contract policies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams during contract review, acting as a key contact for the legal department by providing guidance on commonly requested edits, non-standard terms, policies, questions, etc.
  • Review proposed modifications to contracts and work with internal business partners and third parties to negotiate terms and obtain approvals for modifications as required.
  • Draft and revise contract wording to address various situations as they arise.
  • Maintain processes between the legal department and other groups, collaborating to continually improve the contracts administration process.
  • Assist with legal review and response to requests for proposals (RFP/RFI/RFQ).
  • Complete assigned projects as determined by needs of the business and department.



Education & Experience

Basic Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience managing contracts (including drafting and negotiation) in a corporate environment
    • Bachelor’s Degree or above
    • Legal background preferred
    • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with a contract management system, e.g. Apttus or others
    • Experience with electronic signature software, e.g. EchoSign, Docusign
    • Strong collaborative spirit, including outstanding influence and interpersonal skills
    • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output, team-oriented environment
