PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our client, Cork’s leading Electrical contractor on a permanent basis. The client has a large number of high profile projects within the pharmaceutical, HSE and Oil & Gas industries.

Job Description 

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s project development and implementation process. You will work closely with the Project Manager on the coordination and operation of the site to deliver the completion of projects. 

 

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to Construction and or Project Manager
  • Ensure all site operations are carried out in strict compliance with company HSQE requirements and standards
  • Daily management, supervision, and reporting, of direct labour resources, plant, safe execution of works and materials allocations
  • Manage and coordinate staff and sub-contractors on site
  • Post construction survey and compilation of accurate information to prepare As-Built records
  • Carry out company compliance and administration procedures and recording performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors
  • Ensure works are carried out to a high standard while complying with building regulations, National Rules for Electrical Installations, Health and Safety and environmental standards.

 

Skills and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Electrical trade background would be essential.
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience in Revit would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
