PE Global is recruiting Filter Line Operators for our manufacturing client in Skelmersdale. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, safety-focused production team on an initial 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up machinery on the filter production line while ensuring high standards of product quality and safety. Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial, although full training will be provided.
Pay Rates:
Day Shift: £12.96 per hour
Shift Rate: £15.81 per hour
Night Shift: £16.85 per hour
FLT Days: £14.89 per hour
Overtime Rates
OT1.5: £19.44 per hour
OT2: £25.93 per hour
Working Hours
Standard shifts:

6:00am – 2:00pm
-
2:00pm – 10:00pm
Candidates must be flexible to work various shift patterns, including night shifts, when required.
Responsibilities

Set up and operate machines on the filter production line

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training processes

Ensure high product quality standards are maintained
-
Work from written and verbal instructions and general operating procedures

Maintain strong health and safety awareness at all times

Carry out basic data entry and computer tasks where required

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly
Requirements

Good mechanical aptitude and practical skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks

Effective team player with good communication skills

Demonstrate good working habits and reliability

Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including nights

Basic computer skills are preferred
