PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician to join a well-known family-run electrical contracting company in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity to work on industrial projects and contribute to the success of a respected organisation. They also have long-term maintenance contracts with Government entities in Cork. 

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to work on industrial projects and maintenance throughout Cork. The successful candidate will collaborate with our client’s team to execute electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks according to project requirements and industry standards. This position offers the chance to work with a reputable company known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in industrial settings.
  2. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment.
  3. Install and maintain electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  4. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
  6. Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  7. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Electrician with relevant trade certification/card
  2. Proven experience working in industrial settings, preferably within the construction or electrical contracting industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
  4. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  5. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and regulations.
  7. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  8. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  9. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
