PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Qualified Electrician to join a leading Cork-based Electrical Contractor with a strong pipeline of work across Cork City and surrounding areas.

Based out of their head office in Cork, this well-established contractor delivers high-quality electrical installations across public sector, healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects. Due to continued growth and a strong project portfolio, they are now seeking experienced electricians to join their expanding team.

The Role

The successful candidate will work on a range of electrical installation projects throughout Cork City, working alongside experienced site teams on both new build and refurbishment works.

The role will involve all aspects of electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning works while ensuring the highest standards of safety and workmanship are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations in line with project drawings and specifications
• Install containment systems, cabling, lighting, power, and associated electrical systems
• Conduct testing, fault finding, and commissioning activities where required
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations
• Work closely with Supervisors, Project Managers, and site teams
• Maintain a strong focus on health & safety on site
• Complete works within agreed timelines and project schedules
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving on-site electrical issues

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with relevant trade certification
• Previous experience working on commercial, healthcare, industrial, or public sector projects
• Strong understanding of electrical installations and site practices
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification required
• Testing & commissioning experience would be advantageous
• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
• Full driving licence preferred
