PE Global is currently recruiting for a Production Technician for a leading Animal Health client based in Milton Keynes.
This is an initial 11 months contract position based on site Mo-Friday.
Pay Rate is from £12.21ph to £17.08ph PAYE depending on experience.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities
- Perform activities associated with the manufacture of intermediates (media & antigen) per the production schedule and in accordance with local Regulatory and GMP requirements
- Prepare, stage, use and maintain a variety of mechanical or laboratory equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures and ensure Good Documentation Practices are followed
- Participate in Site Tier Process
- Apply MPS tools and methodology to lead and support investigations and CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) implementation
- Participate in company sponsored training and events
Education/Experience
- Prior experience in a production laboratory or manufacturing environment will be beneficial but not essential
- Working knowledge of cGMP and inventory control concepts
- Working knowledge of fermentation and fermentation vessels
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and procedures
- Experience in large scale bacterial antigen processing
- Completed your further education (A-Level or Equivalent) with an interest in a scientific field
- Bachelors or Equivalent in Science/Biology/Biotechnology preferred
