PE Global are looking for a Project Manager to work on a major  Greenhouse Project based in East Anglia, UK.


The Project manager will be assisting in the management of outstanding construction and commissioning activities including some additional project work on both the Greenhouse sites located at Norwich and Bury St. Edmunds.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage all relevant project, warranty and snag list items for the project sites. It is envisaged that the works will be conducted under UK CDM Regulations.
  • Develop activity programmes including budgeting, resource, procurement, pre-construction, execution and commissioning schedules to suit the work and operational demands of the sites
  • Ensure all project works are conducted in line with site H&S policies and guidelines.
  • Manage day to day site activities including mobilisation of contractors, supervision, commissioning, project reporting, site inspections, quality assurance and project spend.
  • Delivery of projects through to completion including the provision of commissioning records, as-built drawings, O&M Manuals, and any training that may be required for site operational staff and any site acceptance testing or take-over certification that may be required.


Required Experience

  • Project management experience with solid knowledge on reporting, programming scheduling, meetings etc.
  • Experience of construction completion and commissioning activities including the management of snag and warranty issues and the completion of mini projects and modifications interfacing with live plant
  • Strong H&S background.
  • Good admin and IT capabilities e.g. preparation of letters, procedures, instructions, procurement, filing.
  • Familiarity with medium to heavy process industries. Exposure to building management systems would be an advantage.
  • Strong contract awareness.
  • Ability to progress items through to completion.
  • Site supervision, procurement, contracting and construction experience.
  • Compilation of site documentation, certificates, as-built drawings, hand-over packages, manuals etc.
  • Predominantly site based.
  • Second or third level qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering discipline
