PE Global Healthcare is recruiting for a Social Work Team Leader on a full-time contract based in Dublin. You will be leading the Front Door team.

Role Purpose

The Social Worker Team Leader will provide leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team within the Front Door service. You will ensure the effective screening, assessment, and prioritisation of referrals, maintaining a high standard of child protection and welfare practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of social workers and support staff within the Front Door service
• Oversee the intake, screening, and prioritisation of referrals in line with national policies
• Ensure timely decision-making regarding child protection and welfare concerns
• Provide professional supervision, guidance, and performance management
• Promote best practice and adherence to legislation, policy, and procedures

Essential Requirements

• A recognised qualification in Social Work
• Registration with CORU
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, including experience in child protection and welfare
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and national policies
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills

Desirable Criteria

• Experience working within a Front Door / intake service
• Management or leadership qualification
• Experience in interagency collaboration
