Sr Chemist – Galway

PE Global is currently recruiting for SR Chemist on behalf of our client based in Galway. This is an initial 12 month contract role and will be onsite.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. 

• Performs analytical testing on drugs and drug combination products with Liquid/Gas Chromatography, Elution, Spectroscopic and Wet Chemistry techniques.
• Responsible for analytical test method development and validation activities.
• Responsible for Laboratory investigations ensuring timely disposition/closure.
• Responsible for accurate reporting and interpretation of results, trending, leading to investigation and production of technical reports.
• Liaise with other departments on site (Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Engineering) to ensure efficient and robust processes are executed on site.
• Provide technical support for instrumentation and analytical methodology and execute troubleshooting.
• Drives continuous improvement projects to reduce testing lead-times/cost savings.
• Works independently to plan and schedule activities to meet project timelines.
• Supports Training of new colleagues.
• Supports Internal and External Audit programs.
• Support Regulatory submissions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role , ideally in Med Device
