PE Global are currently partnered with a leading indigenous Irish building services engineering organisation based in Dublin to recruit a Senior Mechanical Estimator / Estimating Manager to join the team. This is a full time permanent role based in Dublin.

Roles and Responsibilities
Primary:
- Develop and maintain estimating systems and processes.
- Manage the Work in Progress (WIP) list and coordinate tenders.
- Review tender documents, distribute tasks, and oversee measurements and costings.
- Request and negotiate supplier quotations.
- Conduct take-offs, apply rates, and compile overall project costs.
- Ensure all project requirements are accurately costed.
- Prepare and review tender documentation and submissions.
- Identify value engineering opportunities.
- Support handovers from estimation to operations and review project performance reports.
- Liaise with commercial and site teams to align costings with delivery practices.
Secondary (as required):
- Support project teams on live sites.
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, claims, and final accounts.
- Conduct contractual reviews and support procurement strategy.
- Track costs against budgets and provide regular reports.
- Attend site visits and maintain project documentation and records.
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical estimating.
- Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, process pipework).
- Proficient in interpreting drawings, take-offs, and preparing BOQs.
- Commercially aware, organised, and detail-oriented.
- Skilled in relevant software (Microsoft Office, CostX, Trimble, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
