PE Global are currently recruiting for a IT Coordinator for a contractor developing state of the art data centres in Dublin.

The client specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a talented and experienced IT coordinator to join our team in Dublin

We are seeking a proactive and organized IT Co-Ordinator to support our IT Team in the day-to-day operation of our IT function. The role is ideal for someone with a background in IT, who enjoys managing processes, coordinating with vendors and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ability to carry out low level technical troubleshooting and end user support will be advantageous

 

Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and track IT service requests and escalations with our Managed Service Provider (MSP)

• Assist in maintaining IT documentation, including policies and procedures, change requests, incident reports, asset registers, software licensing etc.

• Support and track the procurement of IT equipment and software, including vendor liaison, order co-ordination and asset/license tracking.

• Help manage Software licensing, renewals and compliance tracking.

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes such as account setup, hardware allocation and return.

• Gather feedback from Users and identify recurring issues as areas for improvement.

• Act as a point of contact for IT related queries and escalate appropriately internally and with the MSP as required.

• Build and maintain a comprehensive suite of system documentation.

 

Requirements

• Strong foundational IT knowledge a necessity.

• Previous experience in an IT support and co-ordination role.

• Experience working with or alongside an MSP would be advantageous.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems and terminology.

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

• Excellent communication and co-ordination abilities.

• Comfortable working with third party vendors and service providers.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
