The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Officer for our tourism client based in Dublin City Centre. This is an initial 9-month contract role with a start date ASAP. 4 day week. Hybrid working options.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and roll out of a strategic digital omni channel approach to content creation fuelled by insights, emerging tech, market trends and organisational objectives
  • Identify and lead all Content Creation projects aligning organisational objectives with compelling creative that compels a visitor to take a break.
  • Lead on the strategic approach to content management across both Discoverireland.ie, VisitDublin.com and the social channels.
  • Contribute to the digital marketing strategy and implementation
  • Contribute to the strategic approach to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
  • Contribute to the vision and delivery of personalisation solutions across the digital eco-system
  • Lead the ongoing Always live social media management and email marketing.
  • Lead the ongoing content optimisation for both Discoverireland.ie and VisitDublin.com
  • Lead the development & implementation of omni channel content ideation, creation, and planning.
  • Monitor and report effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of our activities, in an effort to maximise results.
  • Work closely with the team on our website digital content management system, to ensure that all content is accurate and optimised for SEO, GEO and visitor requirements.
  • Contribute to the implementation of personalisation solutions across the digital eco-system
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with agencies and stakeholders
  • Support the members of the team in all administration and financial management tasks
  • Work with the Consumer Insights & Planning team to disseminate and implement key learnings into digital initiatives to give us greater insight and understanding of our visitor
  • Management of project budgets 

 

Education & Experience

  • A Professional Qualification (minimum Level 6 under the QQI Framework) in a related discipline is essential
  • A minimum of three years of related experience in a similar role with tangible results in building and maintaining brilliant social media management and online presence
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering performance improvements through Social, Search Engine Optimisation and Omnichannel content marketing.
  • Experience in website front-end maintenance.
  • Experience in working in a busy demanding environment across multiple disciplines and ability to easily move from strategy to execution, prioritising of tasks based on the biggest business impact.

Experience in at least two of the following: 

  • Experience in omni-channel content development and dissemination
  • Track record in delivering performance improvements and lead generation via social, Search Engine Optimisation and email marketing.
  • Demonstrate experience in A/B testing and personalisation via 3rd party tools.
  • Experience creating campaigns for search, social and email marketing
  • Experience in all aspects of website maintenance
  • Ability to optimise campaigns on data-based insights
  • Experience in Social Media Management
  • Working knowledge of some of the following; Google Analytics, website CMS and CRM Marketing tools.
  • A solid understanding of all aspects of media and specifically digital and social media’s role with visitor experience with user engagement in mind.
