In 2011, Locum Express, part of the PE Global Group, secured a significant contract worth €25 million per annum over a 5-year period to manage the HSE Locum Doctor workforce. We directly managed the HSE locum recruitment activities and work closely with their internal operations to define key performance indicators.

In 2016, PE Global Healthcare was awarded a place on the new National Clinical Staffing Framework for the NHS. This enabled us to supply healthcare staff to clinical positions within the NHS.

In 2017, Locum Express successfully won the renewal of the HSE contract for the past 6 years to supply Locum Doctors to the HSE. In the same year, PE Global Healthcare secured a contract to become a supplier of Healthcare Assistants, Allied Health Professionals, and Social Care Workers to the HSE.

In 2020, PE Global Healthcare was offered a place on the new Workforce Alliance NHS Framework across three lots, including Nursing & Midwifery, Locum Doctors, and Social Care. This is a 3-year contract with a possible extension of a further 12 months. The Workforce Alliance is a merger of London Procurement Partnership (LPP) and Crown Commercial Services (CCS) and is the largest NHS procurement department, issuing the largest valued Framework the NHS has ever issued.

In recognition of our quality of service, PE Global Healthcare achieved a Platinum Standard Rating on Neuven Audit Solutions’ recent HealthTrust-Total Workforce Solutions Med Locum Framework audit.
