DIRECTOR COMPUTATIONAL DRUG DESIGN

Director of Computational Drug Development
EU – Remote

My client an innovative biotech at the forefront developing new therapeutic drugs, has an opening for Director of Computational Drug Development.

In this position you will be leading a world class team of Computational Chemists, Biologists and Lab Scientists overseeing several drug discoveries projects. As Director of Computational Drug Development, you will coordinate multiple teams to expedite the drug development process, establish new methods of analysis, improve methods of experimental design and interpretation.

I am interested in speaking to a senior Computational Chemist or Principal Scientist who is currently working within drug discovery using advanced computational methods in discovering small molecules. The ideal applicant for this role will need to have experience utilising predictive modelling and generative molecule design. Experience in tools such Phenix, Coot, PyTorch, R, Python would be a definite advantage.

Qualifications
PhD in Computational Chemistry, Molecular Engineer, or Bioengineering
Experience in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, modelling and visualisation
Minimum of 5 years post doc within a Drug Discovery setting
Knowledge of PK/PD, complex modalities and ADME
Advanced understanding of medicinal chemistry principles
Previous experience managing multi-disciplinary teams 

Renumeration
Base salary from €275,000 + PA + 20% Bonus + Stock Options +Pension + Medical
