Production Operative

Production Operative:
To work within the Production Floor to ensure that all product is produced in accordance with the production plan whilst ensuring that quality standards are met and operating procedures are followed.

Duties:
Work as part of a team in a busy production environment
Achieve daily/weekly production targets
Comply with systems of working & participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Completion of all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a high level of personal hygiene as outlined in relevant company policies and SOPs
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in workspace & other areas as assigned
Cross train in other production roles as required
Adherence to Health & Safety procedures
Ad hoc duties as instructed by Management and Team Leaders

Experience and Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential for these roles.
Knowledge of standard operating procedures  quality practices is a requirement.
Experience in a similar role in the Food production industry advantageous. Leaving Certificate qualification

Skills:
Have a clear understanding of good Manufacturing Practices
Good standard of housekeeping and attendance
Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility
Proficiency in the English language is a requirement

A good awareness of health and safety requirements

Other:

Must be prepared to work overtime, if required

39 hours per week

Working hours:

07:40 – 16:00  Monday to Thursday

07:40 – 15:10 Friday

Eligible to work in Ireland
