PE Global is recruiting for a DeltaV Engineer on behalf of our biopharmaceutical client in Switzerland. This is an initial 12-month contract role.

Job description summary:

• Provide direction within System sub team (incl. contractors) and work closely together with other engineering disciplines.

• Plan, direct and monitor the engineering and OT system maintenance activities within his team.

• Enforce best practice for engineering / maintenance and project execution within his team and across System-sub-teams.

• Foster continuous education and actively supporting career development of his staff.

• Development and implementation of the future automation strategy and OT technology to ensure that Client uses state of the art technologies

Responsibilities:

• Project Engineering: Planning and implementation of medium-sized and medium complex technical projects with focus on DeltaV in all phases (evaluation, basic and detailed planning, piloting, technology transfer, realization of investment projects and optimization of current installations).

• Project Management: Responsible for costs, deadlines and function for the assigned projects and tasks.

• Leadership: Responsibility for the System- sub-team. Define goals and resource planning with internal customers. Coaching of team members: Guidance, supervision and monitoring of team members

• Subject Matter Expert: Development and training of engineering processes and standards for assigned subject areas. Collaboration and / or management of assigned knowledge management teams.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical science engineer

• Application and contribution of expert knowledge in the daily job

• Very good communication skills

• Highly independent, organized and flexible working

• Broad expertise in the field of OT systems (focus on DeltaV)

• Advanced English skills (verbally and in writing)

• Innovative thinking

• Project management skills, with a good commercial acumen

• Has a well-established network with external peers and system vendors

• Can demonstrate an ability to manage ambiguity and complexity

• Can build and develop strong teams
