PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Technology Manager to join our client, Ireland’s leading Healthcare Provider. This role is open to candidates Nationwide. This is a permanent position and the role is paying an excellent remuneration package.

The Role:

As the Healthcare Technology Manager, you will join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing technical support for renal dialysis equipment and IT systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing team while driving business expansion and maintaining excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the leadership, management, and development of the Avitum Technical Services department.
  • Drive commercial growth of the portfolio to ensure profitable business expansion.
  • Engage and influence key stakeholders within the Irish Health System’s Avitum Technical Services arena.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team, providing clear strategic and operational direction aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop a high-performing team culture focused on excellence and a strong work ethic.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration to achieve ambitious results.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and trends, providing regular market updates.
  • Promote the company and its products in a professional manner at all times.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvements in policies, procedures, and monthly KPI reporting.
  • Undertake activities that benefit both the team and the customer.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in electronic/electrical/mechanical/biomedical engineering or similar technical discipline (Essential).
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience leading a team (Essential).
  • 5 years of previous experience in renal technical service (maintenance & repair) and IT hardware, with experience in Water Treatment Plant service desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical setting and interacting with allied health professionals.
  • Familiarity with relevant EU Directives for medical devices, e.g., MDR, EN 60601, ISO quality standards.
  • Possession of a full Irish driving license.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland and potentially beyond as required.
